Orion® 950 has no pins and thus does not damage the surface. Thanks to the measurement being performed at depth, the influence of any surface moisture on the measurement result is minimized.
The meter uses capacitance technology so you can distinguish between dense and fiber-rich wood. This ensures good results with all meters in the Orion® series.
Orion® 950 has a strong rubber protective cover for tough use. Delivered in a durable plastic case with an accompanying calibration plate for long-term accuracy.
It can also be used for relative measurements when, for example, searching for moisture spots on a wall or a stud behind drywall.
Orion® 950 has large data storage capacity for measurement values and can communicate via Bluetooth® with an app on your mobile phone. The apps WoodshopMC and FloorSmart are free to download for both Android and Apple.
Orion® has sensors for humidity and temperature and can calculate dew point, equilibrium moisture ratio, and the amount of water per kilogram of air.
