Sustainable surfaces with LINSEED OIL VARNISH
Drying oil for polishing treated wood and for oil impregnation of pressure-treated wood. Contains no solvents.
Available in 0.25 liters, 1 liter, and 5-liter metal canisters, as well as in 200 and 1000 liters barrels.
LINSEED OIL VARNISH is our thickest and fastest-drying oil. It is linseed oil from which the non-drying components have been removed using our unique refining method. It penetrates into the substrate and dries quickly through a reaction with the oxygen in the air to form linoxin, a natural polymer with good adhesion. It is biologically non-degradable, water-repellent, and resistant to fats, petroleum products, salts, and household acids such as lemon, wine, and vinegar.
At 20 °C and with good ventilation, LINSEED OIL VARNISH dries within 6-24 hours.
With LINSEED OIL VARNISH, you create beautiful and durable surfaces, especially on wood treated with PRIMER OIL or FURNITURE OIL. First, impregnate the workpiece with either oil. The next day, create the desired surface – from satin matte to high gloss – by oil polishing with LINSEED OIL VARNISH. Choose the gloss level by using coarser or finer polishing cloth.
How to use LINSEED OIL VARNISH
Oil impregnate pressure-treated wood with LINSEED OIL VARNISH rather than with PRIMER OIL. The pressure treatment disrupts the wood's cell structure, making it so porous that it absorbs almost unlimited amounts of PRIMER OIL.
Both oils make wood rot-resistant by making it water-repellent – rot fungi cannot grow in dry wood. Furthermore, no organism can extract any nutrients from these oils.
